Address Book XP is a contact management and address book organiser. This program currently supports user logins, reminders and some advanced uses of Access XP and 2000. This code was designed for Windows XP with Office XP or 2000. It hasn't been tested on other machines yet but hopefully you guys and girls will be able to help with that. There is a lot of work that needs to be done with this code such as a suitable search engine and some user managemet. This takes a jumbled word and compares it to a list of words (apprx 110,000 words) that are commonly used in crossword puzzles and such. I got this paticualr idea from Robert Rayment's code on finding anagrams for a word. You can also replace the provided word list with a bigger one. please give all feedback positive and negative. This application sez what it does, i made it in Win32 Assembly back in 1998 for use in Game Crackings; and been using the same algo for years until i seen a lot of submissions in PSC about Brute-Forcing word generations, but those authors doesn't know what is a real fast Brute-Force Algo is? a friend of mine and i converted the Win32 Assembly Algo to Visual Basic (inspite of its limitations) and this was the result; hope you enjoy it and you find its usage? anyway, please leave vote or comment!

This is a pacman game I wrote which took 3 days to write, about 15 hours all up. It follows the original pacman game as close as I could and has two modes, original and enhanced, enhanced being just more prettier graphics. As I didn't use any directX, people with slower computers might find the game runs a little slow, though I'm not sure about this. :) If your computer is fairly slow and it misses frames then you could change the tmrkeyboard to 20 milliseconds and play it on turbo speed (x2 normal speed). :)

Missile Command Game (no more bugs version, seriously), give it a shot, you might like it, it’s for ALL windows versions. Cursor and resolution changes back to original. This game is the remake of the original but with lots of improvements.. it's pretty fun. it has sound, full colour animation, 1024x768 res, and music (separate download). lots of improvements on earlier versions. Working on a clip-board spy to understand how data is saved within the clipboard. Still cleaning up a few things - but it works for the most part.

Ever be in the middle of coding and forget the field names in your database? Well this little tool is for you. Open an Access Database and it will display all of your fields as well as the description and ALL of the properties for each field. You can Drag field names right from the list into your code. Never have to memorize (or type) those long field names again. Click the stay in front button and the application will stay on top, click it again and it will fall behind other windows when it loses focus. You can also search for a field name. If enough people like this I will convert it from DAO to ADO. Please leave comments. :) Sorry for the missing .bas file. Its there now. *** 3/20/02 - Added recent file list *** 3/21/02 - Added datasheet option which allows you to open the selected table and add, delete, modify, and view data from the selected table. You can use SQL to filter the datasheet and it also has the "Stay on Top" feature. You can open as many DataSheets as you want. ADO Version coming soon!

apidude posted this last week, I've added the ability to send attachments as well and resubmitted it. Personally, I've been looking for some code like this for a long, long time... Thanks Apidude.... The idea application for this is to build a bulk email program/Access DB that allows bulk email to be sent with each one personalised or carrying information specific to an individual. ie. Sending out customer statements by email, etc...

This control allows you to set the transparency level of the form that it resides on. I wrote this a good while back when I was learning how to create controls in VB. It uses the SetLayeredWindowAttributes API that is available in Windows 2000. I believe this will work on Windows XP also. I haven't tried it though. A small test application is included to show you how to use the control. It's really simple. If you like it, please rate it and I'll post more code. :)

Updated and new! I will put the code to change the font size and font but that will be in the 3rd one.
