I'm 14 and this is my science fair project :: The One-Click Doctor is a self-diagnostic medical program that can identify which of the top 5 common childhood illnesses a child has based on symptoms exhibited. This program combines the ability to chat with the added ability to share an unlimited number of text files with an unlimited number of people. This enables several developers to work on several files for one project - or even one file - at the same time. Updates: Shows youor IP to give to clients Shows line numbers Load/save files User enter/exit notice in chat Better naming for working files Auto-Connect when starting server How to use: It should be pretty simple, but here's some instruction anyways. 1. Pick a host. Whoever is hosting needs to click the 'Start Server' button. You will be automatically connected. Give your ip to the clients. (WhatIsMyIp.com) 2. Clients will punch in the servers ip address and click connect. This will pop-up the chat window. 3. In the chat window, you have several fields. The top right area is for regular chatting. You can talk to everyone connected to the server. The left side shows all files currently being worked on. You can click on one of these files at anytime to load the current update on the file. Be sure to include a working file name when updating a file. 4. To start your own file or update a file, type a working file name and put in whatever file or text that you want to. When you have made an update you want others to see, click "Update" and all clients will have that file available to them. B Squared (b^2) is a bulletin board system developed in PHP, using a MySQL database. Manages TODO tags left in code for future improvements. It doesn't use and database for storing the tasks but rather than that, it uses comment lines that start with TODO: string. A ToDo tag will be a comment line beginning with 'todo:' string and followed by a decription of what remains to be done there. You can place such comment lines anywhere in the code and you can find them easily with this add-in. Example of such a line: 'todo: place the code for paste here (see the picture, it contains such lines of code and thw way they look in todo list). **** NEW in v1.4: -minor toolbar changes **** NEW in v1.3: -the number of tags is shown in add-in's window titlebar -toolbar can be aligned to the left or to the top (new option in options dialog) -the grid doesn't contain an empty line anymore -last column always took the entire grid space -reduced the flicker associated with grid refresh etc.

This is version 2 of my RPG Editor in DX8.1. This Version has many optimations. Its a lot faster then the previous version. If there was more then 10,000 tiles placed, the FPS would drop to like 1, now the FPS is constantly around 30-50. Ok. to start the editor. you go to file ->new then MMORPG map. Its actually rpg but havnt changed that yet. Then there is 4 Layers. The first layer is the background tile layer. that layer is where the character cant walk. the second layer if the walkable tile layer. that layer is where the character can walk. the third layer is the object layer. thats where most objects will go the fourth layer is the overlap object layer. that is for objects that are always on top. You can also change the color of objects and tiles by holding C and placing the tile object. you can add NPC's by holding N and clicking. you can add monsters by holding M and clicking. Also, fill screen is really fill sector, a sector is 15x15 tiles. You can also test the map by selecting game mode then a character will be displayed. You can also move tiles from 1 layer to another. for example if a tile is on layer 1, you can move it to layer 2 by holding 2 and clicking. to move a tile from layer 2 to layer 1. hold 1 and click. the editor also saves in sectors. so when loading a map, load the file 1-1. if the entire map doesnt load. you will need to go to view-options and increase the # of sectors. Future versions will have even faster rendering, and better memory managment. When deleting a tile or a object, it still stores the texture in memory. There is also some rendering glitches when deleting tiles or moving them from one layer to another but they hardly occur. Other features that will be in future versions will include ability to talk to NPC's, adding music and maybe battling. The Interface has also changed. I have been working on this project for a long time so please leave comments on what you think and maybe some feature suggestions. There is a test map in the folder test. I didnt add collision to the map, but it gives a basic idea of what a game would look like with the editor.

This program doesn't do much (displays memory usage percent) but it does include 3 useful modules. The first one allows you to set a window to always on top by suppling an hWnd value. The second allows you to move a borderless window. The third gets the memory status of the computer. Line by line commented. Please rate on code structure, not application functionality. Thnx!
