Zion Library System is a complete application that you may learn from,use or distribute. you can do anything that you want with the submission. its an excellent graphical user interface library managment system to track books in the library,library Members and library borrowings. I designed three user access levels to provide retrictions and limitations to other users other than the administrator. you will notice as you use it that the sofware is almost a commercial software which has so many features that you can use or try to learn from as you explore its code. you may replace the graphics flash files according to your liking. some of the original flash,wav,bitmaps were replaced to trim down its file size. do not forget to place the usermanual(pdf) in windows directory. some of the modules were borrowed from some programmers in planet source code. thanks a lot to fellow programmers I learned a lot from them specially to the developer of hme library where i patterned my system design after. the system is not free of bugs as it it still in its development process and not yet finished... I am currently working on a gantt chart activex and have been searching the internet for code to update the backcolor of listview subitem. I finally figured it out last night after much research. This code enables one to change the listview subitem backcolor to any color that you want. I have off course ported this over an activex for my Gantt chart. Advance Search Database It provides advance searching for MS Access databases. No need to provide Table names; it will retrieve tables from the given database and list it out. Just select table names from the list and put the record to search. It will return you the fields and table names where the record present. Its so simple to use Basically it is use to seach the whole database. Many of the times you gets confused in which table the record present or while analyzing software you entered a record and want to find where actually it get stored into the backend. I know this type of project does'nt get much interest, but it offered a few challenges and besides it was fun to do.
