All though not complete, it demonstrates the BitBlt API call, and the somewhat confusing ListView control. Included is a custom DLL, FileAssocLib, which simplifies the regisrtation of file types. This code is avalible for download on PSC. If you learn anything, or like the app, a vote would be most appricated.
