[ How to set OpenWith??(!) ] - You can launch your software when user clicks on it's document file... like clicking on "*.txt" file will execute "NOTEPAD.exe". For that you need to register your document file extension and set it to be executed with your software. A simple implimentation with very easy to use code!!!. A simple and useful code... You can make your software AUTO-EXECUTABLE on SYSTEM STARTUP. This code can register the execution path to System's startuplist. After some quick search I realized that very few in PSC knows how to rename file with VB. So here it is...

This is an upgraded version of, one of my early build software, which I am using for a long time. Basicaly this is shell executer which can handle WebAddress and Folder Path, listed alphabetically and execute in it's browser. This software is capable of loading on system startup . Current version can also perform advanced google search. Using this software you can save a lot of time specialy when you are working with Internet. This code is for those guys who wish to make their forms unique/attractive by creating theirown skins or background images. But the problem is that when you set the form-'BorderStyle=0', the form-icon will not be there in the taskbar. Because, a 'ZeroBorderStyle' will not support icons in taskbar. This code contains a 'SetZeroBorder' function which can set your form without a border and the icon is there in the taskbar. This is a very simple implementation and works perfectly. This code is nicely implimented form animation which is so powerful to have the same performance of the 'Microsoft Word's' animation. The different options can control the animation-speed/frames/time/borderwidth/bordercolor and even the CPU load. It works on simple idea and I think you all like this. A fast DataBase driver without ADO, DAO reference, in pure vb. It is not using any third party product. The Data is stored in a standard text file, in the most simple format. The driver is made in Class as well as ActiveX Control. Most of the basic functions are included. You can view the data structure by opening the file in Notepad. The control will extract the true icons (16*16,32*32) , such that the items will have the same icons that the explorer is showing. Hi guys, This is a rock solid hi-speed code(DIB) for image GrayScale. GrayScales are very important especially for usercontrols to draw disabled states!! I can't find any stand-alone hi-speeed code for this. And none of them supports icons too...(icons are very important for uc). So here is it... you can pass Bitmaps as well as icons to this function. This is a single file'd 'ImageList' control. It does not uses a property page to add/delete/modify/list images. All the operations can be done right from the vb's property window.
