ThreeD Rides! An awsome simulation. Ride a Waterslide, 2 Rollercoasters, or "Fly Thru Space"!

This program gears towards how it would look like if you were actually riding some of your favorite rides. It uses textures to create the effect of the ride, and uses a base tunnel for the body to paste all the textures on. DirectX 7 or higher only! If you like what you see, VOTE! ;D

BitBlt+AutoRedraw Tutorial - FAST & EASY. Animate Sprites, collision detection, transparency!

This is a medium sized tutorial on the basics of making games without DirectX, and still get the great frame rates. Best of all, it is very easy. This tutorial has most of the things you will need; Sprite Animation; Transparency; Collision Detection; Position Tracking; and the basics of transferring images to the Main Frame. It also explains what the options in the Declare "BitBlt" are, and how to use them. And also, almost every line is commented! Please vote, and enjoy. I spent two hours on this for everyone of you (including myself, I was getting rusty).

Transparency without DirectX!

Really cool, and really simple... It uses API to skip the transparency color, white, and write the other's pixel to that. It's very easy, and useful! Check it out, and plz vote!

Space Rockz - Asteriods game

This is really fast for a non-DirectX game, too! I like this, it's smooth, fun, and best of all, addictive... It's got explotions, double-getkeys(e.g you can press left and up and you'll go diagnal), and even a randomly generated space galixy background! Try it out for youself, and plz plz plz vote!

VERY TIGHT 3D Land **better than ever**

About 50 times better than before! Now with Collision Detection, Varieties of Texture, So-so sky, and a nice looking building to walk around in. All running at a slick 128 FPS! Special thanks to Frederico Machado for his beautiful AddWall, AddFloor, AddRoof subs that are probably my favorite DirectX utility functions. See it for yourself, and vote for my 3D Lands! However, for some reason I couldn't upload 3DLands to PSC--download it here: http://www.solid4k.com/3DLands.zip

RPGVillage - a complete village with a quest and a crossbow

This one took two days to complete, I worked hard on this and am proud of the result. I managed to create a fully-functional DirectX7 RM role-playing game! However, there is only one quest, to figure out how to get into the castle yard, and then go into the castle (loading another full map!) and then to shoot the wizard in the secret room with your crossbow! Most of the objects in the game have collision detection, and most objects were made with Frederico Machado's AddWall, AddRoof, AddFloor, subs. I am currently working on an evolved version of RPGVillage, with 4 maps and spells and swords, and even your little crossbow. Enj0y!
