We all know that the virus needs some medium to get copied. Nowadays Internet and the pen drives are the most frequently used mediums. DNA (DNA is Not an Antivirus.) monitors your removable devices and prevents the transmission of the virus into your system. Since, prevention is always better than cure, thus, DNA proves, sometimes, itself even better than an Antivirus. It's a complete open source package. Thus, you also get the source code of DNA and yourself master the tactics to prevent infection. DNA has some advanced features too like immunization, detection of executable folders and probability meter. When you get used to it, you surely will find it an important tool. You can learn following things from DNA *Subclassing *Detecting arrival and removal of Removable Drives. *Creating non-deletable Folders. *Finding all Folders from a specified path etcs.

This little utility hides all the unnecessary window and displays them in the taskbar Just press Ctrl+Alt+Space in the window which is to be hidden, it hides them and makes your desktop free of clumsy windows. All you have to do is to double click the taskbar icon to show the windows. And it can even hide itself!! But like all other programs which make use of SubClassing, take care while running it from within the IDE. Hope You will enjoy it!!

Create Threads in Visual Basic. It has a class called "Threads" which incorporates methods to create and manipulate a thread. It also includes a synchronization method (Semaphores) to coordinate your threads. Check it out, it comes with two examples. 1. File System Monitor The monitor is basically the same as I had uploded the last time but with a major enhancement. It also comes with a class so that you can create your monitor easily. 2. File Encryption This is a simple (By simple I mean simplest) file encryption example. It Xors a file byte by byte and saves to the disk.
