You can make your forms transparant by adding this control to your form. You can set the transparancy level and you can fade in and fade out your forms with very litle coding (All the code you need is in the screen sample). Be aware that the transparancy will only work on Windows 2000. If you run the code on an other version, then you will just see the forms without transparancy. Yes, I have used the transparancy code that was published by others. Here is the reference for this: When i saw the code 21385 from faisal arif, i wanted to reproduce that. After a search on planet source code on transparancy i found a working sample 8015 from J.-A. Mock. I used this code as a base to crate the control. This control is just an image of a dashboard fuel gauge with a needle pointing to the percentage done. It's very simple and can be modified to use other images. It has the typical min, max, value properties along with a property for showing the value label. The source is not commented much, but it's mostly self explanatory. This is a control that will allow you to create a form that can be scrolled by the user. It is very simple to implement. This submission is heavily based on another submission by Fred_Cpp: http://www.planet-source-code.com/vb/scripts/showcode.asp?lngWId=1&txtCodeId=31896 I hope that Fred doesn't get mad at me for tweaking his code! :) My modified version has little changes. When there is no need to scroll horizontally or vertically, the scroll bar is hidden. The scroll bars do not have the annoying blinking anymore. I did a lot of clean up on the code and added a few comments in "English". I think that the example looks better, too. This ActiveX Control (OCX) will create a simple interface so the user can enter a determined time. It then validates the time entered and will always return a correct time. This control can be very useful if you are writing a program like an Alarm Clock or something like this. It can be, also, very instructive for those who want to learn how to program an ActiveX Control.

The purpose of this control was to replace the standard VB command button with a button that was far more configurable and had many more options so that it would require less programming on the part of the developer to use nice looking buttons. This release corrects a problem with pushing the button several times very quickly and the button would only show the animation once per two quick clicks. Also fixed a bug in the Option Button implementation that would allow an option button to become "un-clicked" (value of false) without having another option button with a value of true. I've improved the modularity of the HSL color code and decided to use HSL blending for the new style borders and for the caption styles. This should be the last VB release of Gradient Button assuming there are no major bugs. The C++ version (v2.0.0) is coming along quite well, but there is still alot of work to be done. I still have to add an About box, OLE events and code, code tweaking, lots of documentation and lots of testing. It is still probably a few months away from full release.

Works fast thanks to SendMessage API (supports loooong lists w/o trouble). Supports Up and Down arrow keys as well as PgUp and PgDn. Enter key behaves like tab. Highly commented code.
