Did you wish you could create enumerators to be used by For..Each in VB6? Using lightweight objects, custom enumerators can be created, and all you have to do is implement the IEnumerator interface in your class. This archive contains several example enumerators for both arrays and a class that is a dynamic list. I show several styles of enumeration (Forward, Reverse, Random) just so you can see that it doesn't have to always be in a straight line. The real beauty is the lightweight object. I hand build a wrapper object about your IEnumerator interfaced object, and it delegates the IEnumVARIANT method calls to your custom enumerator. You can create any kinds of enumerator, with as little or as much logic as you want. Have it enumerate a collection of collections, and have it appear to be enumerating a single collection! This zipfile contains the sourcecode for an ActiveX DLL wich can be used to en/decode base64 data. This data can be strings or files. The object is one of the fastest (VB) variations around and thoroughly tested. Sorry if I'm Italian and i don't think you really appreciate my work cause the words is in my language.. But I know that there is some thing that beginners can find helpful. I don't submit this in english version only for the reason that I think most of the people here don't know this cellular! I'm wrong?? But if you want you can adapt code for any type of pholifonic cell. Is there anyone that is able to make it professional by put in all the music for the notes??! Just a little fun with regions. Pop this control on your form, set the shape you want and, at run-time, you will have form transparency where your control is sited and in the shape that you selected. Yeah, I know the screenshot and test project are cheesy but I just didn't have time to make something more elaborate. The goal for me was simply to learn more about regions. Perhaps, those of you with the luxury of time can combine the shapes to make something more interesting or extend the control with more shapes and, maybe, a custom shape method. Just extract where you want and launch the HolePunchGroup.vbg...

This program is an exact simulation of the 3-rotor Army and famous 4-rotor Naval M4, used on U-boats, of the German Enigma cipher machine, as it was used during World War II from 1939 until 1945. You can select between the two models, choose different rotors or 'Walzen', preset the rotor wiring positions or 'Ringstellung' and switch letters by using plugs or 'Stecker'. The code is based on the technical details of the original machine. The internal wiring of all rotors is identical to those used by Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine. Lots of research went into the design, working and handling, to provide a realistic and accurate simulation of all aspects of this crypto machine. It allows control and observation of all components. The simulator is therefor fully compatible with the real Enigma and you can decode original messages and encode your own text. The program includes a Smart Clipboard, Automatic Typing, a Helpfile containing the manual, the history of Enigma, several original messages and all technical details! There's also a picture gallery with authentic Enigma's and details of components. With this program you will finally be able to work with the most intriguing milestone in military cryptology and examine how it works and how it was operated.
