This is an example of subclassing a window, and moving it around using another form. It's set up to use as a custom form border that is translucent, resembling the Aero effects of Vista. For the example I subclassed notepad to have the Vista style translucent border, though you could apply it to any window.

This mimics the translucent selection box of Windows XP, only I made mine white. You can change the color of the selection box by changing the picturebox's backcolor to the color that you want the selection box. This uses the AlphaBlend api, so it can be used on all versions of Windows that support it.

The Daily Telegraph uses the name Sudoku, but you may see it called su doku elsewhere. However, there is no doubt that the word has been adopted into modern parlance, much like 'crossword'. Sudoku is not a mathematical or arithmatical puzzle. It works just as well if the numbers are subtituted with letters or some other symbols, but number work best. Sudoku consists of a 9x9 grid that has been subdivided into 9 smaller grids of 3x3 squares (I call it box). Each puzzle has a logical and unique solution. To solve the puzzle, each row, column and box must contain each of the numbers 1 to 9.

This code automatically merges multiple .xls files located in a single folder into a single .xls file named Merge.xls. All of the original worksheets that were in those workbooks are preserved. It only merges the worksheets that were visible. These merged sheets are given consecutive numbers for names in the Merged.XLS file.
