This is an update to my TCP/IP client and server that allows multi user chat, file downloading, and instant message. I did some more clean up and fixed the bugs I was having with IM. Also added some file extension recognition to the file list that changes the icon for the file depending on its extension. Please read the readme for more info.

The server is setup to send and receive login, chat, file information, message board lists, and im's. The client however only does anything with login, chat messages and files. Check it out for a good look into using the winsock control. A login is in the users database handle:admin passsword:admin And it is multi-user also.

This a MsgBox replacement using Flash. While the flash movie is very simple, it does give a good example into using flash with VB. Read the REadme for information before using. The zip contains the dll, dll source, and source for a sample project using the dll. Also included the flash source so you can look at it and change it if you like.

After many months, I decided to rewrite my iBBS internet communication program that allowed chat, private messaging, file transfer, mail, ane message boards. This new rewrite finally adds my most ambitious addition..Thir pary modules. Now anyone add their own client/server modules to extend VegaCOMM's functionality. Writ now the main progrmais limited to only Chat and Private MEessaging and I have included test module for both the client and server. The GUI right now is not all that great but the point of this release was to show off the module ability which I got code help on from other submissions. Please read the Readme.txt since it includes information on setting up some pieces of VegaCOMM you need to have ready before running the server. I have also included what I have written so far of the Module SDK with documentation on creating Modules to work with VegaCOMM. You will need to have either MSXML 2 istalled or 3 isntalled in replace mode, otherwise it MIGHT not work..

This is a multi purpose tcp/ip client server program. This will be the last open source version. This version has a huge amount of new stuff. Read the readme.txt for info. It now supports chat(with channels), file download, instant messaging, private mailbox, and public message board. The image below is of the Server. This is a good look into using the winsock control. Also uses collections and the split function, so it will only work with vb6. For lack of any other way to explain what this is, if you have seen Hotline before, you will have some idea of what iBBS is. If you like it, please vote.

This is a new update to my Internet communications suite that was once called iBBS. As before this version has third party module support to enhance VegaCOMM with new abilities. This update has support for: Chat, Private messaging, File downloading, and a built in mailing system. The GUI is still a work in progress while I concentrate on the main functionality. Read the Readme.txt for important setup information(There is a dll you must compile before running VegaCOMM). There is also a couple accounts already in the users database. Use Access to add new users until I add configuration ability to the server in a future version. This program also uses xml so you will at least need the MSXML2 parser installed which you should have if running IE 5.5 or higher.
