OK.. Finally, the REAL Hard Drive Serial Number - found this on the net somewhere, so if you vote, this code isn't mine. Just cleaned it up a bit and made it all work together.
This is a project I started months ago, almost a year, and finished to the best of my abilities at the time. It works completely, with just a few kinks (load time for large folders of MP3's, etc). I hope some of the coding comes in handy for some users out there, some code came from PSC, sorry if you recognize your code, but I wasn't planning on selling this or anything. So here it is, a sound system for your computer for doing music and adding sub sounds with LOTS of really good code involved. Has crossfading timer and all....
Windows XP, 2000, 2003[Server], Office XP and 2003 can be "slipstreamed" or made to have the latest service pack integrated before installation. This is an 'almost finished' project that completes the operation by tab-to-tab selection in the GUI. Although not well commented, most of the code is straightforeward and easily deduced. If I get a few votes on this, I'll try to finish it in it's entirety and post updates(s).
UPDATED - NOW SAVES ORIGINAL OEM's- Just a way to customize your computer and add your logo and text to the system properties when you right click 'My Computer' and got to the 'Properties' menu. Also shows how to shrink and save a picture and a few other useful functions. I use this when I build a computer to customize it and the customer always has my contact info... REMEMBER, the source picture should be larger than 180w x 120h... It has an 'RESET' button so you can start over from scratch easily. IT NOW FLIPS A REGISTRY KEY AND SAVES YOUR ORIGINAL OEM FILES IF THEY EXIST ON FIRST LAUNCH - PRESS RESET TO RESTORE TO FACTORY.
