This program is the first bot for Windows Live Messenger 8.0. It can send instant messages (also at specific time), change status, show some information about contacts. It also shows pop-up when an event (a contact change status, nickname, etc..)occurs. I'm trying to sort contacts by group, but this doesn't work very well. Please vote! :-)

this is my first contribution in planet source code. it's a surveillance camera that using stepper motor and parallel communication to catch a movement and follow it wherever a movement go.

The purpose of this UserControl is to simply allow you to place a vote/comment link on your projects that you submit to PSC. Just add this UserControl to any of your projects and configure the link propities to suit before uploading your project. This wont get you more votes, but it will make it far more convenient for those who do vote. The way this works is by locating the @PSC_ReadMe.txt file that is automaticly added to all projects at PSC. Then finding the url within this file and linking to it. This code is will commented and should be easy to understand for beginers.

This program is a complete high-security file scrambler/encryptor. It's an alternative to a password-protected WinRAR file, with some differences. First of all, this is not a compressor, but primarily a file scrambler (encryptor) using very high security. The program can create an archive file up to a total of 100 GB, but it's too slow to accomplish that (due to the heavy byte scrambler algorithm) (~100-250 KB/s), with a total of maximum 2 billion directories and 2 billion files, no matter how deep the dir-tree is. The program also splits file to 100 MB archive files, so they can be stored separatedly for extra protection of your data. The algorithm uses a simple looking byte scrambler/encryption, but has uncrackable protection. No (gov-)authority will be able to crack the files unless they have the key. Current encryption standards use 256-bit keys(which are uncrackable atm), FileScrambler uses a totally different byte approach, and accepts keys up to 8192 bits (value is increasable because it's stored as a constant). See it for yourself! Also, this code contains several usefull code snippets for intermediate programmers, for example 'Using a linked list to store directory-trees with unlimited depth' and some other small details.. Purpose The purpose of creating this project is to control all home equipments e.g. Fans, Lights, Door motor, Electric Heater, TV, VCR, Water Pump etc through Voice. The user will no longer have to move from his seat, just to turn on the Fan. He will just call the Fan with its Name, rest will be done by "As You Wish". Project Details This project has two parts one is related to Software and other related to Hardware. Normally you have to plug the hardware to your system after that you have to install the software. First of all, connect the Microphone to the sound card and check whether it is working or not by using the Sound Recorder Utility in Windows. You have to plug the Hardware to the any Parallel Port of you PC. There are 24 sockets available on the Hardware, in which the devices to be controlled will be plugged in. There is also a AC supply Plug which you have to plug in the 220v~ supply. Now the Hardware setup is completed. After the completion of hardware setup, start your computer and run the As You Wish software (its is assumed that the software has been previously installed). Now you can create the menu of devices names. The Device Numbers on the software and Hardware are the same. Click Save when all the names have been entered. Click Config button to set the configuration of the software. Write the address of Parallel Port on which you have connected the hardware. You can also train the Voice Engine with your voice by clicking Train. Click Ok. Click Activate. Wait for the Listening status to appear. Now its ready to obey your previously entered commands. This code creates a semi-transparent reflection of your form which shimmers in realtime. The screenshot shows the basic idea, but it looks much better animated! It uses the UpdateLayeredWindow() API, so will only work on 2k/XP. I have only tested it on XP. It can use quite a bit of CPU (especially while moving or sizing the form) but could be a nice feature on an about box or something. Parts of the code are optimized, others are not. It could easily be improved upon, and I welcome any suggestions you might have. The effect subclasses your form. To keep the code simple, I have not used ASM-thunking as I usually do, so if you run it in the IDE: DO NOT press the stop button, and DO NOT try and debug-step through the subclassed WindowProc. If you avoid doing this it will run in the IDE quite nicely. There is one "feature" that occurs when the form is near the left edge of the screen : the wave is shunted to the right. I'm develop new ST controls collection. There is much styles and other propertyes to create custom trekkie controls. But you can create also project that isn't trekkie. Collection have button, label, shape, progressbar and scroll components. Button and label have 13 STYLES! There is several federation, klingon and romulan styles. All control have transparent color property so you can add background image to your project and use this controls. This collection is also excelent example how to create controls without any other control (except timer). Scroll control also have only timer control. I think this is the bigest free trekkie collection and you must check it. I have spend few days to develop them, so plese if you like it PLEASE DONT FORGET VOTE.
