When using the chameleon button user control I noticed that eventually the application will begin to run out of resources. I was extremely curious to what was causing it, and decided to identify the problem. Using the vbAccelerator GUI Resource Tracer (www.vbaccelerator.com), I was able to find the cause of the problem. In the procedure DrawFrame(...) the memory leak occurs. I implemented DeleteObject calls for the hPen and hObject. Originally the code would only call DeleteObject on the value of hObject and not hPen. Hope anyone that uses the chameleon button user control finds this helpful. This user control is hosted on this website incase you are unfamiliar with it.

"whois.arin.net" In 12 lines of code using a single function. No more having to go thru a middleman for simple Who Is lookups. After writing Who Is I decided to see if I could pull off NTP also. Has the same purpose as the previous versions, the only thing that is new is that the XSS (Cross Site Scripting) has reporting and automation(automatic injection done through the client)No clicking for each string required. I have also nested an unfinished string crafter for writing custom strings to inject on the fly, which is unfinished. Anyway, have fun.
School or Institution Time-table Time Table I searched through various sites for a project on Time table, but found none. Now I've tried my best to deliver one. This project may hang the machine, however care is taken for the same. This project is used as an tool in designing the TimeTable for schools, institutes etc. I've added this as an resource for my project on School Management System, which I may later upload on PSC.on PSC. When you press stop on media player after alarm is playing it returns your mixer volume back to the originally set volume. The original version of this submission 'Big Red Radio Alarm Clock' was missing some of the settings code and hung at windows shutdown. I have reconstructed the code to fix that problem. I also had trouble with the original stations stream link going down. I guess because I made the mistake of telling them about the program. Oh well their are thousands of radio stations out their with feeds that still work. So its that stations loss of listeners by them shutting off their stream. I have included a small list of some stations to help. More can be gotten from http://www.radio-locator.com and elsewhere. Also you can get the K-Lite Codec Pack to be able to listen to streaming MP3 broadcasts. I wrote this program for a friend of mine with Autism to help him learn to read. It includes 18 word lists including all 5 levels of Dolch word lists. Program requires Microsoft Speech API 4.0. Uses random sorting routines to display 4 words from list then audibly says one of the words to the student. Student must then click on the same word from the four words displayed. Includes scoring. I originally found a program similar to this online and they wanted money for it. So if you need this program, here it is all you have to do is compile it. Don't forget to vote. Enjoy !!!
This project demonstrates a quick and easy way to add mapping to a windows desktop application (with an available internet connection) using Google Maps as the basis and source for the map. The demonstration application will map a point by either its physical address or its latitude and longitude. Building the application does not require any sort of agreement or licensing with Google; there is no required API to invoke and using this approach it really won't take more than a few minutes to put a map into your Visual Basic 6 built desktop application.
