RPG using only ascii drawings, uses text files, its very basic, but works

The objective to to move the ball with the arrow keys left and right. block go up and you must avoid them. If you hit the block u will go up with it and if you hit the top you die.

It's my first DirectDraw powered game

Since my earlier submission of this code was accidently removed, I am resubmitting it again. This is an MS-DOS Tic Tac Toe game that runs in VGA mode. Some neat features like mouse support, GUI buttons, BitBlt-like image drawing functions with transparency are included. All graphics are saved in PCX format and when loaded they're stored as image objects, which can be drawn on screen at given coordinates. This is my version of the game Who Wants To Be A Millionaire based on the TV series gameshow. It shows an example where "goto" actually makes programming similar to this more simple if you already have a lot of defined functions. Also, by using goto in this code, it avoids problems in compilation with the delay function. Great example for beginners of using nested if statements and declaring and defining functions and using arrays to make programming more simple.

A simple one armed bandit fruit machine game, that i creted to help me learn C++. This is my first program in C++ and i wrote it in about 2 days, purely to help learn the language. Constructive critisms would be great to help me learn, but any one posting to tell me my games pointless, etc don't bother.

Force is cool. A new 3-D space shooting game which matches you against an alien space-craft, variable speed and size asteroid. Pick up shield strength enhancing hyperboloids. Force promises to be a fun action game for the year 2002.

This is an awesome casino game! Everybody should try it out! There are are about 5 or 6 games you can play,including slots, blackjack, and roulette. There is also a bar to drink away the lonely hours of the night. Play Blackjack against the computer

This is an ASP poker script. What it does is it gives you five cards. From those five cards, you need to select which cards you want to keep. You can do that by checking the checkbox of the card. After pressing the OK button, you will get 5 new cards. Below those, you will see the result of the previous hand. The non-held cards will be replaced, and score will be setteled. Anything starting from a pair of jacks give you points (the better the hand, the better the score), anything else will result in losing 10 points. When the game is over (after 20 hands), you will be able to submit your score. This is saved to an access database. The highscore page will then show the 10 highest scores. The highscore page also has a protection that it will only accept submissions from the poker.asp so this prevents cheating a bit. The poker.asp will check to see that you don't get the same card twice in the same hand (althoug the GetHandValue function is prepared for this) This submission could be usefull for: a) someone who likes a (cool?) game on his/her asp site b) someone interested in how to validate a poker hand c) someone who's just after all the card images i've included d) someone who needs a highscore script for his/her own asp game If you want to see a live example, I've put it up at http://developer.domaindlx.com/cakkie/scripts/aspoker/poker.asp . If you get popups, i advice you to minimize them rather than closing them (they keep coming back), but it's a free asp provider, so i can't complain, can I?
